ABOUT ME

Anna Venditto is a self-taught artist born in Aversa, Italy, in 1988. She discovered her passion for painting as a child, a passion that she cultivated throughout her adolescence. It was only when she took part in her first group exhibition in 2012 that she realised that art was much more than a passion. Thus began her artistic research, made up of continuous experimentation. Her exploration of art as a personal medium is reflected in the diversity of her works and the techniques used – acrylic on canvas, watercolour, illustration, murals, oil on canvas – and through themes such as the relationship between body and soul, but also between human beings and nature.

“The artistic vocation is a gift for me. Several times, I put painting aside by repressing my instinct, but each time it came back strongly. That is why I promised myself that I would dedicate my life to art.

Everything I live and feel contributes to the depth of my work. My works respond to a primary need to communicate. Through art, I get to know myself and the world around me, I capture its deepest beauty and then give it away.”

Anna Venditto è un’artista autodidatta nata ad Aversa, in Italia, nel 1988. Scopre la passione per la pittura fin da piccola, passione che coltiva durante tutta la sua adolescenza. Solo con la partecipazione alla sua prima mostra collettiva nel 2012, comprende che molto più di una passione l’arte costituisce la sua strada.

Inizia così la sua ricerca artistica, fatta di continue sperimentazioni. Il percorso di esplorazione dell’arte come personale mezzo di comunicazione si riflette nella diversità delle sue opere e delle tecniche usate – acrilico su tela, acquerello, illustrazione, murales, olio su tela – e attraverso temi quali la relazione tra corpo e anima, ma anche tra esseri umani e natura.

“La vocazione artistica è per me un dono. Più volte, ho messo da parte la pittura reprimendo il mio istinto, ma ogni volta quest’ultimo si ripresentava con forza. Per questo ho promesso a me stessa che avrei dedicato la mia vita all’arte.

Tutto ciò che vivo e sento contribuisce alla profondità del mio lavoro. Le mie opere rispondono a un bisogno primario di comunicare. Attraverso l’arte, conosco me stessa e il mondo che mi circonda, ne colgo la bellezza più profonda per poi donarla.”
