Quest’opera, realizzata nel 2001 – quando avevo solo 12 anni – rappresenta il mio primo dipinto.

La mia insegnante di arte mi chiese di realizzare un disegno con la tecnica degli impressionisti.

All’epoca non avevo altri strumenti a disposizione, così utilizzai dei pastelli intinti nell’acqua per ricreare la luce e i colori tipici delle opere impressioniste. L’insegnante, stupita, lasciò la sua firma, elogiata con un bacio accademico, sul retro del foglio.

Nel corso degli anni ho conservato gelosamente quest’opera a cui sono particolarmente legata.

This work, created in 2001 – when I was only 12 years old – represents my first painting.

My art teacher requested that I create a drawing using the technique of the Impressionists.

At that time I had no other tools at my disposal, so I used pastels dipped in water to recreate the light and colours typical of Impressionist works. The astonished teacher left her signature, praise with an academic kiss, on the back of the paper.

Over the years, I have jealously preserved this work to which I am particularly attached.
